I was trying to find a new way to photograph the wind farms around Tehachapi, CA, when it occurred to me to use a neutral density filter to allow me to use a longer shutterspeed in full daylight. It's hard to tell what results you'll get, so I bracketed for differing propeller blur. I liked this one best. Canon 1DsIII, 70-200 @75mm, 1/6 sec @ f32.

I think you have accomplished the effect well! Looks a bit surreal :)

Hi Jeffrey...I think you created a very interesting and different image. I like it very much. I took the liberty to try a few things with it that I thought would make it stronger. First, I cloned out the 2 small WM that weren't spinning on the right. On the left, I got rid of the small box and showed a WM spinning. Finally, I made a small shadows adjustment to give it a bit more pop.I did it quickly so I might not have been as careful as normal...

Do like the repost by Dave with fewer windmills. Looks like you got just the right shutter speed. Neat image Jeff.
