I only wish I got something this nice when I was there James.

For this image I suggest that you crop off the bottom lake bed and end with the water at the bottom. Though some might say it acts as an anchor, its darkness in the image draws my eye. I would also clone any of the small portions of the branches that remain sticking up from the bottom of the frame. That will bring the mountain's reflection close the the bottom edge and as such not be pleasing. Just something to try. The one small branch on the right most tree appears to interest the edge. A bit of separation would be nice.

I think I would have tried a high position on the camera to get the the mountain more separated from the lake bed edge. I would also have tried walking right and getting the trees to right of the mountain and turned this into a pano. Of course walking right might have not resulted in a nice image if the BG was bad.

I love the light on the trees and mountain contrasted against the dark clouds.

An incredibly beautiful and surreal image, James. Great work.
