The best part of this image is how well the undersides of the wings are lit, I suppose reflecting off the sandstone or the sun very low? A strong flight image balanced well with negative space. Glad you did well when you were here.

Yes, Szimi, the only thing I don't like is loosing light when I need it early or late. Then I use the 1.4X or straight lens. Otherwise, the 1.7X is glued to my lens.

Glad you're back safe and sound. As always, you have another wonderful flight shot. The pelicans make beautiful images with their colors.....and I really like the overall color.....especially how the BG compliments the bird. Well done.
