Hi all,
I've just signed up to this forum and thought by means of introduction i'd jump straight in with a literal interpretation!

Welcome, John
This one is truly fitting for the forum and an excellent first post. A great action pose of the falcon with the wings spread...always more interesting than just perched. Very nice detail and and BG to show off this beautiful bird. Well done.....and I look forward to more posts.

Thank you all for your kind comments.
I'm fortunate to know and visit a traditional English Falconer a couple of times a year, so more to come.
I've spent the last 4 years photographing birds and wildlife, so its refreshing to see a new forum dedicated to the art.
Thanks again.

A fitting first post, John! The bird is displayed nicely with spread wings and nice light.
