Lensbaby Image
Canon 5D
ISO 400
1/2 sec. at f/8
4+ and 10+ stacked

Do you think there is enough focus?
Do you like the tone?

Excellent composition, Love the feel...the depth of field and selective focus is superb...

I have to agree with Gus again.

I don't understand the "Lensbaby" image.

Am assuming 4+ and 10+ stacked were Extension Tubes which I have yet to learn how to use.

I really like the image. Just another way to look at a hydrangia.

Denise, yes, I think there is enough focus - but it would have been nice if the main leaves were crisper than what you see in the BG - kind of differentiating it a bit more. Still, I love the color and the image overall.

Please tell everyone how you made the tonal change...I'm sure they'd like to know.

Hey Denise, having fun with the lensbaby, this has a real nice soft feel. It's not a real sharp focus but with the lensbaby look I don't mind a little softness.

Denise:

Mike's book is the best bang for the buck on macro photography. He doesn't talk above you.

I sure hope he comes out with another book.

There are three different "Lensababy's." Which one did you use?

Joseph, I got the composer-along with the macro lens kit and the telephoto lens kit(which I haven't used yet) I just got it for Christmas. Mike Moats inspired me with one of his images he posted awhile back-it's fun and I really like the look you get from stacking them!
