Cedar Waxwings and Robins had a feast on these berries.
They do it every year ,but not on a perfect schedule.

That is one pretty photo. Nice detail but great color.

Nice pose. Looks a bit noisy, and I'd like to see more room in front. The BG is just a little too busy for me.

I have a couple pyracantha bushes but I've never had any waxwings on them.

Nice pose and getting him with the fruit is a big plus. I may desaturate the reds a few points, because they compete with the subject. Maybe some blurring of the BG wouldn't hurt either.

I like this a lot Chuck. I am OK with the red berries as they produce a well defined frame. Exposure on the bird looks great. More room in front may have been nice but I am OK with it as presented too.

I think this is a lovely image. The background has a painterly feel to it and the bird's body makes a graceful "s" shape. If I had to pick, the bg right above the bird's head looks a bit grainy, maybe a slight blur, and I'd do something with the stick on the left, if your ethics allow..maybe a couple quick masks. I bet this will make a great print, should you so desire.

The details on the body make this one. Very well captured in that respect. The background can be distracting if you look too much at it. But it does define the type of bird and the image conveys a happy feel. The one oof blue spot just above the head is just visible enough to notice. Maybe next time go all the way open. I like it.

The overall shot is very nice, the bg although busy still makes it very eye catching especially with those wonderful colours, maybe just a touch of NR.
