Very cool pose, details, soft light and setting. The fanned tail adds to it. Did you bait the bird?

I wish the bird wasn't flying away and also for better eye contact. You did however capture the excellent patterns on the underside of this bird beautifully. I also like the hint of habitat in BG.

I like the soft light, the fanned tail, and the sharpness wishing ony that the bied was angled a bit more towards us.
