“Moon Light Glow”

Techs:
This composition is an image overlay of two frames captured in RAW and then converted to JEPG. format; using a polarizing filter.

The image was painted with a Nikon D200, using a Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D macro lens with a 20mm extension tube.

Image solution:
focal length @ 60mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / metering mode- combination of in camera matrix metering, and hand held spot meter, sampling three anchor points, for balanced light distribution / 1/125sec. - f/5.6 / ISO @ 100 / white balance @ manual, custom profile using an expo disk for color calibration / AF - mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution - no speedlight; used two 36" soft boxes the first one at 90 degrees, with a 36" diffuser panel to tone down and balance the light. The second soft box was positioned from the top with corresponding diffuser; the shadow casts were created by a disk reflector positioned to the side of the second soft box. / exposure comp @ -1.7EV / tone comp @ +2 degrees / hue adjustment @ +3 degrees / saturation factor @ +4 degrees / support platform - tripod assist, using a macro focusing rail / cable trigger release /
