The wild kangaroos at Pambula Beach (a small coastal village on the south-east coast of Australia) live in harmony with the residents and come in from the bush every evening to graze on domestic lawns. This allowed me a much closer approach than usually possible with a wild kangaroo and capture this portrait of a young female in a relaxed pose.

Lovely portrait...that little hand makes the shot. We don't often see photographs of these marsupials down here...keep 'm coming!

Leo,

You designed this image well - diagonal of the body strong, good head position, alert look, the paw positioning all good. Would have been nice if one of the paws was not intersecting the nose but that is a minor quibble. BG soft and OOF providing an almost portratit looking setting. The BG accentuates her well. Nicely done.

Having a sensory overload Leo !!! Love this image as presented !!!

Open hand looks great and adds to the image, intense look and feel top it off !!! Could be even stronger with less form the back !! Love it either way .. hoping to see more !!!

Lovely expression and I like the open hand. Very crisp around the face and neck.

Ohhh, I got to have that paw :) Very appealing image, with great EXP control and lines.

A very appealing image, Leo, and I would agree with all the positive comments above. I only wish the left elbow wasn't clipped by the bottom of the frame.

I know exactly what you mean about Pambula Leo, been there myself and seen the phenomenon first-hand. An awesome experience. WEll composed, cropped and the nose pick makes it even better! :)
