Great setting, details, calling pose and BG. I might raise the color temperature a little bit. Did you use audio equipment?

Perfect head angle and singing pose. Where was the image made? A small crop from the top, left, and bottom would improve it. The clean perch is excellent.

Jan, you missed Axel's question; did you use a tape to bring the bird within range?

I didn't want to crop it anymore, to keep the litle green parts on the lower left. It was taken in the Austin are. :)

I know they can be located at a few locations down in and around Austin... try Fossil Rim Wildlife Center & Balcones Canyonlands. Nice image!
