Raining and snowing outside yesterday and today so I decided to play indoors.
Couldn't find an interesting wine glass so another glass had to do. I was going for a moody looking lighting

Canon 50D
Canon 28-105 @ 105
ISO 160
F22.0 @ 1/160th sec
Two Alien Bee Monolights one light slightly behind and to the side
the other to the side and slightly front and above at a 45 degree angle.
Foamcore light tent
Black construction paper background

All CC appreciated.

God's precious light and love to all,

chris

Hi Chris,
I like the transparent quality of the glass. the wine bottle could use a wee bit more blurring, and the introduction of the wine should have been a little higher so that it can be more dramatic on impact...I would open up the mid-tones in the red chanel just a tad more...looking forward to your next one...

Very dramatic Chris, I like what you are trying to do here. Good advice by Gus wouldn't have a clue to tell you what to do:), Gus is the master of these types of shots.
