Costa Rica Parrot

I got this profile of a captive parrot (not sure of the species) during my trip to Costa Rica last year. I leave for a return visit in a couple of weeks, so I thought I'd get myself pumped up by going through my 2007 pics and posting a couple. This was one of only a handful of captive bird shots I took during the entire trip.

Very nice.....especially those gorgeous colors. Great job getting the BG to compliment the portrait as well. The detail on the head is wonderful......and sharp where it's needed. Good luck and safe journey on your trip.
