A great capture. I am amazed he can perch on this stick! How long did he stay there?

Sharp, nice look back. Just a tad more room to the left would be nice. I also wonder how it would look with the two outside sticks cloned out.

Too bad the sun wasn't directly behind you to illuminated this side of the face. I do love the wind sculpted pose and the grip on the perch. Looks like the "mustache" is burnt and some of the shadows blocked...but you did as well as you could considering the light and its angle. I'm gonna have to move my butt down to Dunrobin at least once before the owls leave!!

Art...Great subject in an interesting position. I'm also surprised the owl didn't pick a more substantial perch. I'm somewhat conflicted about the 3 branches. Not sure if I like them or not. I'm wondering if the rear branch was eliminated whether it would help the image. I also agree about a bit more canvas on the left. Very nice capture!
