Went out and did some shooting the other day and picked up a few shots of Hoodie : )

Nice and sharp, although I might have gone for a faster shutter speed than 1/200. You don't need f/8 for that kind of pose. A slight head turn towards you would have been nice. I like the spiky hairdo!

I like the angle and exposure control. Maybe a bit more contrast and I also wish for a slight head turn towards you.

There is a huge red cast to this image which was removed with average blur color balancing. Otherwise as above. I like the swept back crest.

Art, I was wondering about the red cast you were refering to, I'm not sure I know "average blur color balancing", is this a feature in PS?

I agree with Arthur on the red cast. I was trying to put my finger on what was bugging me about the image and I'm fairly sure that is it. Makes the image look a bit flat. Lovely bird though, nice pose, sharp and I like the water, with a little more PS or LR work I think you've got a great one.
