This fellow looks like he had one too many Coronas with lime...:D He was just chilling under the Mexican sun, at Playa San Miguel in Merida, Mexico. Playa ( Beach ) San Miguel is known for it's over abundance of iguanas. The locals and the tourist feed them. They are always looking for a free meal, and are used to the tourist posing with them...:cool:

That must be an escaped or captive chameleon as I don't believe any chameleons are native to Mexico. The anole is sometimes called an american chameleon.

They are super tamed and well behavied Roy, the natives pose them for the tourist...:D

What a beautiful photo Gus!!! For identification purposes the lizard is male Verrucosus Chameleon from the island of Madagascar. Love it!
