Hi everyone, here's a Hoary Marmot photographed in Mt. Rainier National Park a few summers ago. He would sniff the flower and then I guess if it had the correct aroma, eat it. Full frame.

This is sweet, Nate and a good lesson for us, stop and smell the flowers :)
The landscape around it can be seen in its eye.

Nate,

Nice work capturing this. Observing the behavior and then being ready for it helped to make this image I am sure. A good lesson on understanding you subject.

If you are OK with such things I suggest cloning the flower behind his back out.

Brought an instant smile to my face. Nicely seen, nicely photographed. The flower in the ur needs to go, draws attention from the sniffing action.

Hi Nate,
Really nice detail in this. I like the hint of teeth being visible. Softness of the flower goes well with the sharp detail in the fur. If it were mine, I'd remove that back flower and may experiment with a crop to the dip in the neck.

Good EXP. And way cute. A bit tight inm the frame for me. Would love to see on of it chomping on the flower.
