Kloster Ettal is a Benedictine Monastery in Ettal, Bavaria, Germany. As 90% of our visit provided storm clouds or rain, we remained consistent here. Actually some of my favorite photography weather. These stormy clouds, rolling down the obscured mountains, provided some very strange but interesting light. I hope you like my image. C and C welcome, I'm here to learn. - John

I like it a lot John Lucked out big time with the clouds sure adds to the ambiance Impressive building !!!!

John I used to go after those interiors with my Leica stuff The Noctilux was just perfect !!! Sure wish I had a reasonable size f1.0 lens !!! :)

Al, That would be awesome! I use the Sigma 12-24mm that's terribly slow, and I'm not that steady anymore. A number of the churches don't permit tripods, so I shoot handheld and hope for the best. Usually try to lean up against something or support. - John
