HI Judy

Great looking little guy !! I like the exposure, got good shadow detail and the snow in check. I know trying to get in good sun angle is an impossibility ... they probably just sit there. I remember hearing Fabs say flash is not practical at all !!! Love the image !!

As mentioned sun angle not optimum. Going low here would have been another option for you here Judy if the Bg was not distracting. I do like the comp and inclusion of just the right amount of habitat.

Judy,
I agree with AI. Lots of details in the image. Looks good to me.
Cheers,

I remember this young one well, and his father too :) Easy to recognize because of the star in the forehead.
Sun angle meant a butt shot.

Cute horse. Looks like he's a model for rocking horse designers. I like the 2nd one too and the inclusion of the habitat (although I want to see more mountains or removal of just the strip at the top). Must've been neat to see these guys and spend some time with them.

Hey Judy,
What a cutie! My bet is you could probably pull a bit out of the forehead with a screen blend layer?? You know me....I have no issues with the crop!
