Upon completion in 1902 it was one of the tallest buildings in <st1:City w:st="on">New York City</st1:City>. The building sits on a triangular island block at <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">23<SUP>rd</SUP> Street</st1:address></st1:Street>, <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Fifth Avenue</st1:address></st1:Street>, and Broadway, anchoring the south downtown end of <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Madison Square</st1:address></st1:Street>. Remember seeing a special on NY buildings and this one was featured. Still looks awesome today !!!
