Here is another image of the White-tailed Kite. This time they are not sitting together; onle left for hunting and the other stayed for a little longer.

Canon 20D with 500mm +1.4TC, tripod
1/400
F:5.6
ISO100

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful bird on a great perch. Like the open beak and nice eye contact. Maybe a little CW rotation. Your copyright is somewhat more noticeable than I would like it to be. Perhaps a smaller font and placed in a less conspicuous place.

Hi Lorant,
it does appear to need a bit of a CW rotation as doug mentioned. I really like the curve of the perch and the open bill just add to the overall appeal. Very nicely done.
PS I do agree with the smaller signature

Beautiful, a bit of CW rotation as mentioned, a small speck of dust under the perch (and some slight shadows to the right of the dust, cloning?)

ok, here I need some help...what is CW rotation and how can I do that? Thanks...

The dust is on the original too...good eyes. I will clone it out.

Hey Lorant,
CW rotation...clock wise...CCW...counter clock wise....Image adjust>rotate canvas.....arbitrary.....use the ruler for correct amount.....although this one may be by eye....as there is no horizon to judge. You wil have to re-crop after doing this.

I like it as it is - well done, I would perhaps saturate the blue slightly more. Virtually identical to our Black-shouldered Kite, beautiful species!

I like the eye contact and details, it would have been great to have the sun behind you. You could try to get more details in the shadows using curves and/or S/H.

I agree about the CW rotation and I love the perch, light angle couldīve been better IMHO, but itīs very nice though, detail and colors are great! Congratuaitons!
