Hi Folks:

Greetings from the absent minded Swede . . . boy, I must be losing it ~ not once, but twice I previewed this litttle Bridled Titmouse, and went on my way without postng it . . . "Old age ain't for sissies."

Here goes, third time . . . Captured this little guy when he sat still for more than his usual sit & flit at Madera Kubo B&B, in Madera Canyon, AZ ~ my favourite birding haunt . . . Replaced BG in CS4>Filter>Render>Clouds, Converted to Black & White, then a pass through Corel painter essentials 4 . . . Looks great on a note card.

Uncle Gus aka Absent minded Mad Artist.

CC's always welcome and appreciated.

Hi Uncle Gus,
Actually, now that I see both versions, I like the first one...covered leg and all...:D it's more natural...

Like the dreamy look to the image. These guys don't normally sit still for very long, so you did well capturing this image. I prefer the repost, but I would eliminate the repetitive clone patterns on the perch.

I agree with you, Doug, and I had my eyes checked yesterday after waiting 2 months, must have been the field vision test that I hate . . . :D lots of new birds at Madera Kubo, Trogon across the street on Pyracanther tree 4x daily while there are berries. . . Gus

Gus...I like the final result with the 3rd post. This will make a great note card. I like what you did with Corel also.

I'm liking number 1, that part of the stick that is covering the leg a bit just seems ot give the whole shot a little more balance in a way. Not sure how to describe it better than that.
