Took this last month during first visit to Alligator Farm. C&C please. Thanks. Lynn

Hi Lynn Did great with exposure, lots of feather detail. Bg is far enough it does not come into play.

I like the fact the bird is not in mixed light, just ruins pictures. Good pose and I'm fine with the head angle Came up with an excellent image. btw the first time I went to the Ali Farm I had zero keepers :)

Hi Lyn - well done - agree with Al on the techs. I like the pase and the exposure is good.

well done all around! i love the pose and the bg is not bad for the alligator farm! you did really well!!

is your camera a point and shoot?

Harold: Yes, it is "point and shoot", but of course, it is much more than that. I shoot lots of manual everything. Biggest problem is the small sensor and poor higher ISOs; and no interchangable lenses. Tripod makes a world of difference (and no one walking on the board walk :). I remember when 35 was considered too small for most serious photography; the small is getting better, not just smaller.

Yes, I'm getting ready to get a G1, if my wife doesn't raise too many objections.
