Great pose and I'm for a vertical capture since the right side of the frame adds little to the overall image though for publication an editor would love it.

You guys are right, of course. I was struggling with the right Horiz crop but it didn't occur to me to try a vert. Here's another shot at it with a bit of S&H and the vert crop. Thanks for the feedback!

The repost looks so much better. I would only clone the reed in the lower right and if you have maybe a bit more space top and bottom.
