We are having a bit of an erruption this year in Minnesota on Pine Siskins and Common Redpolls. Here is a Pine Siskin from the neighborhood.

Like the perch, pose, and BG Mike! The bird looks a little soft on my monitor, and some of the whites look a little hot.

Nice pose, perch, BG and detail, light is good. Congratulations!

Beautiful, nice bird and background. The eye seems a little soft. You could clone out the piece of lichen that touches the tip of the tail.

a very nice shot Mike., maybe a little head movement from the bird caused this to be a little soft.

I like the perch, pose and BG. The wings look a bit oversharpened and I would selectively sharpen the head more.

The erruption seems widespread indeed. Some of the whites a bit hot, great perch, lighting and bg.
