This is a classic view: "El Teide" a volcano (3720m) in Tenerife, seen from the top of Gran Canaria (about 120 km far). I edited it with capture NX . Nikkor 55-200 VR , handheld. Comments and critiques welcomed:

Jose, Just love this image. The different layers in this is incredible. On the repost all I did was crop some from the bottom and the top. My personal preference.
In my computer I put a total black border around it and I saw detail in the bottom silouette when its hard to see with a white area around it. Nice job there! All in all very interesting and well executed.

Like Dave, i love the layers. I think i'm a bit sensitive to cyan in particular but it seems a bit saturated. i like both cropped and uncropped. Well done, a beautiful capture for sure.

Hi Jose,
I'll agree with Paul on this one....it does appear a bit on the cyan side. Try adding 20 pts of red in color balance.....this will warm it up and tame the cyan somewhat and add depth to the midtones.
I prefer the original crop...as Dave mentioned....there is detail in there but our BG does make it tough to see. All in all very nicely composed and a lovely scene!

Jose,

I vote for your original presentation and agree that some cyan color cast exists. Wonderful composition that works great in a vertical.
