I made this image today of this happy otter with a fish (who doesn't look so happy). We have some freezing temps right now--I usually only see this guys head in the water--but he put on quite a show on the ice today.

Nice capture Bonnie of a mammal that I have virtually nothing on. It looks like it could do with a bit of CCW rotation if you can manage it.

Did you get any iimages where it's looking at you?

Really cool capture Bonnie. I certainly agree with the need for some CCW rotation. Nice job to catch the fish feast and a mammal that has done well avoiding me!

Kaushik, thank you for your comment! We just went through this on the bird forum--and here I do the same thing.
The image as originally posted is 802 pixels and it get resized somehow when posted on this forum and looses sharpness.

Repost looks nice and sharp. Detail in the shadowed side is fine.. The BT reeds are pretty hot and distract somemwhat. Like the low angle and the behavior is interesting.. You did well considering the challenging light...

something of a rare site in the wild in the uk, so can appreciate the opportunity to capture the moment.
