I believe this shot (from Ft. Desoto this morning) is either a semipalmated or piping plover. In New England we see them in the summer with different plumage. Can you help?

Large dark eye on the pale face leads me to Piping Plover.

Looks like a Piping Plover to me, too.

The overall look suggests Piping or Snowy.
The orange legs however eliminate Snowy and most
N. American plovers except Piping and Semipalmated.
The INCOMPLETE BREAST BAND and dark eye on pale face
eliminate Semi, so it must be:

Piping Plover.

I knew it wasn't a snowy, and I hoped it was a piping. Thanks for the confirmations.

Much too light/buff for a Semi. Agree Piping.
