It was a very low tide, and I decided to go sea level to to have an unusual angle on this shore. In the BG a "castle" from the XVI century, and the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (a really large name for a city...).
I shoted this with my D40, sigma 10-20@10mm , then I made a HDR from one RAW. C&C welcomed :-)

Beautiful scene with great colors, it's larger than the 800 pixels tall size limit, would you please re-size?

Hi Jose,
I didn't see the larger version......but you can go up to 1024 on th horizontals.....anyway.......I like the leading line of the rocks and shoreline wall. Nice texture and colors too. I need a bit larger size to get a better idea on the HDR work.........but it looks pretty good even at this size.Nicely done.

Jose,

This image works well on a few levels. BOth the wall and the shoreline are great leading lines curving into the BG of the image which guides your eye in.

Good use of texture (the rocks) in the FG to add visual interest. The circular structure in the water helps to balance the right side of the image. The clouds are the icing on the cake as they deeply detailed and in a pleasing swirling pattern.

Good work.

You got a great sky and leading lines here. Some good advice already, I would maybe tone down the blues and greens a touch. HDR sure seems to saturate things.

I'm not a big fan of these HDR photographs as it looks a bit over the top to me. But from a photographic point of view I like this...I love the lines, interesting forground and sky...well seen.
