Japanese Macaques playfighting

Last month I travelled to Japan to work on a project with these Japanese Macaques. While I'd like to keep the project for myself a little longer, I'd like to share some of the other photographs I took during this visit. This year I visited the snow monkeys in a very busy week. And since most people were photographing near the hotsprings, I tried to focus on the monkeys running around on the snow and hills. We were very fortunate to find a good amount of fresh snow and some VERY active subjects to photograph. This remains one of my favorites from a whole series of playfighting macaques.
