While we were photographing baby grebes at Viera, an anhinga made a catch right in front of our lenses. The fish almost looks too big to swallow, but I assume she had a brood to feed. I had to back up to capture the action.

I love the light, the colors and the GREAT capture yours and the Anhinga´s :) But the head of the bird looks a bit soft and the BG is a little distracting IMO. Still, VERY nice Susan! Congratualitons!

I think Ramon sums up my feelings nicely. Tech issues aside, it's a great action photo. Congrats!

Godd catch for both of you, agree with the previous comments and hope to see you in the field sometime soon :)

You could try blurring and burning the BG?

Cool moment captured, great to see the eye of fish and bird. It's a bit tight at the top and yes to more sharpening.

Great captured moment Susan and I agree it is great that you were able to capture both the eye of the fish and the anhinga. Nice detail and I like the mating eye in this capture. Congratulations.

Hey Susan,
Looks like you guys are still having fun down there. Very dramatic action captured. I think the blur/burning is worth looking into as it will definitely keep the attention on the fish and anhinga. Great moment captured.
