PhotoShop Elements 7

Is anyone using Photoshop Elements 7 and if you are, can you give me some pro's and con's.. A friend of mine is wanting to put this on her computer and did not know if it was a good program or not..

I don't have PSE 7 but Elements 5 which is much cheaper than CS4 etc.
Have an excellent book which I got from Amazon called "Teach Yourself Visually Adobe Photoshop Elements 6" Not quite the same but good tutorial.
Maybe you could borrow it from the library.
Possible main drawback with Elements is no Quick Mask but for beginners that to me is not an immediate need.
Elements comes out in new forms frequently so there might be a new one out in the next year.
