The Great Blue Herons are probably the most photographed birds at Wakodahatchee these past few weeks and here is one more taken last week.

The head turn makes this body angle work for me, lovely wing position and great detail! Comp, colors and light look terrific to me Judy! Congratualitons!

The lighting on the head and the feather details are really lovely. Brilliant.

Nothing really to change on this one Judy, excellent capture. Interesting how one of it's claws remains elevated on the left foot. Well done.

Great job with the exposure. I like the almost high-key look to the BG. A slight head turn would have been nice, but still a good flight shot.
