As in the last times I can't go anywhere without any camera, this one was taken with my P&S , Lumix FZ-7. Handheld.

Beautiful shot! The colors and composition are perfect. Might be nice if there was a bit more DOF so that the entire flower was in focus, but that's a minor nit. I also think removing the green spots in the BG would make this even better.

Hi there,

I like the composition here and the background greens are NOT to bothersome to me. But the image does look soft to my old eyes - particularly when I look at the butterfly which is what I am expecting to be the focal point.

I agree with you. In fact, the only interesting points in this pic (IMO) is the composition colors. Mistakes usually lead to knowledge, so I think this one is very useful to me. ThanKs Ed and Christopher for your comments!

I agree with the others, Jose. You've got the composition down and the opposing colors are very nice - just need more DOF on the butterfly and a little less on the background.

Hey Jose, the great colors make this image pop. Agree on the DOF, but its not bad.
