I have just returned from a trip to the Kgalagadi transfrontier park, two rivers split the reserve . Auob and Nossob..these river beds are were most of the activity takes place amongst its inhabitants especailly in summer, the rainy season.

This year the Nossob side of the reserve has received good rains hence the river bed is green and full of game and predators. But the Auob has received a little or no rain.....

this image was taken on the Nossob river bed just as the sun was rising behind some clouds so light was not great...

Nice timing and gentle light, an unusual appearance, the colours seem very gentle - I like it

You've done very well with the shadows and lighting here. Nice composition.
I like it.

To get the one youngster in mid air is amazing. I think a little lightening the head of the one looking toward you would be worth a try.

Peter,
I love this image. I like the composition, the fantastic action, the way the two lions are angled to form a triangular composition is lovely. Lighting is soft and creates a moody image. You did very well with the sharpness. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Perfect timing. I cannot say it better than already stated. Expressions, the action, the raised paw, so cool.
