HI Dan,

What a unique image! I love the story here and your idea to create it is wonderful! The whites look blown out - would like to have seen more detail on the bird's wings. You might try earlier morning light?
You did a super fine job with stitching!

Thanks Kristen. The shots were taken at about 8:30 am and at 1/4000th f5.6 the raw file histagram shows that there are no whites above about point 237, so the whites are definately not blown. As for detail, in these panos, the monitor doesn't do justice. I have posted one panel with only a very minor levels adjustment and Nik sharpening to show the detail that exists in the panoramic.

Dan,

I agree the whites look OK as does the detail. Nice sequence. I would suggest more room in the front if possible due to the pano sequence making it look like he is flying right out of the image. Any shots with extra real estate you can add on?

Hey Dan,
The whites do look fine on my monitor too.....I like the different wing positions too. I agree with a bit more room up front......even for me who likes em' tight.
Nice job on the stitching.
