Red Fox with lunch

Hi everyone,

I have navigated through the site since its beginning and have seen amazing images. So, here is finally my first post.

The image was taken few days ago at the Montreal Botanical Garden. I watched the fox trying to catch squirrels for some time. He finally succeed to catch one and looked very happy about it.

Canon 1D Mk III / 300mm F2.8 with 1.4x / ISO 200 / 1/1250s / F8

Welcome, Pierre! Really looks like a happy fox. You can post images up to 800 pixels, which makes it easier to comment. As presented I find the fox a bit tight in the frame. Keep them coming.

Fine natural history capture here. Please post your images at 800px it sure helps us view them. The tongue makes for some nice action. Well composed and exposed. Looks like the image could use a little CW rotation...
