Captured these two Darners in my backyard while chasing Wandering Gliders. This was a first for me catching Darners perched. It was an overcast day which always gives me fits for some reason.

A well captured composition of these mating dragonflies Tim. The bodies of both insects are in sharp focus. My only nit is the over exposure (on my monitor) particularly the BG and the hot ventral area on the lower specimen.

Hey Tim, very cool find and excellent details and the dragons. As John mentioned it looks slightly as the overexposed side.

Hi Tim
Although I would not argue with the comments made so far - this is still an outstanding behavioural shot with nice colourations and subject sharpness.
So yes the exposure could have been a bit more white orientated - but that does not stop this from being a fine looking image
Nice capture!!!
