I like the composition Tom. Even though everything draws the eye to the center, I think that works well here. The "V" of the water and of the clouds flow right to the obscured sun. On the right, you needed a bit more room to keep from clipping the small island in the water.

I would also try to crop to the left. Lower corner of the image just before where the water starts. You could also try a black and white version.

Excellent! I like your crop with the sun centered. Works fine for me. With an image that large, you can have fun (and probably already have) playing with various "sub-crops." For example:

Thanks for your input and edit David - much appreciated. The original image has a small top & bottom crop - hadn't considered any side crops as I was trying to make the most of the 14mm WA. Interesting thought for the future.
