A very different view of a woodpecker, Dan. I like the eye and wing detail but you may be able to extract a bit more on the breast. Normally some + exp comp against a bright sky would be good but may have endangered your whites here - I will need to look at the histogram when I have access to PS

Great timing to catch this beauty in flight. They are like bullets. Tony has covered it but I love the superb eye contact you captured in this image Dan. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, a difficult species to catch in flight. This is nice Dan. In a perfect world I'd wish for a slight head turn, but I still love what you've captured here.
