As I stated before, these birds are uncommon visitors to West UK. When we do get a chance to photograph them the main difficulty is trying to isolate them against simple BGs as they tend to feed in the centres of the bushes.

Love the colors and detail on this. You did well isolating him. The couple of OOF berries on the left bunch keep grabbing my attention.

I like the perch, soft light, pose, BG, details and raised crest. I actually think the berries add to it.

I like the berries too, great lighting and pp, I would have left just a touch more on the bottom if possible. Nice sharpness with a 2X.

Yes, but you did great in this one, the bg looks terrific, I only wish for a run of noise reduction on the bg.

This is a really nice image to my eye. Love the detail on the head and the dual berry bunches balance the bird nicely.

I'm not qualified as many on this site to offer expert critque...but to me, this image is as close to perfection, as you can get. It's beautiful! Congratulations and thank you for sharing your treasure!
