This past Christmas my wife and I had the opportunity to spend a day in Sedona, AZ. We got there late in the morning and only stayed until shortly after lunch. I was able to make a few images even though the light was a bit harsh.

I like this one as it shows the expanse of the location and highlights some of the famous red rocks.

40D with 17-40 @ 21mm with polarizer. Evaluative metering with EV +0.67 at ISO 250 and f 14 with 1/40 sec hand held. This is full frame with the usual PS stuff done.

Thanks for looking. All input is most welcome.

I like this Ed. The FG is very pleasing and well arrange especially those two trees. i like the circular sand in the FG. This arching continues into the scene with the light colored bushes, the darker brush, the green trees. Nice use of layering. Puffy clouds too to top it off.

Hey Ed,Not bad light wise.....I agree that the circular FG adds a bit to the image. I wish for a hair more seperation of the right tree........but all in all it's pretty nice! Definitely shows off the rocks well!
