Another macro from my Longwood Gardens Conservatory visit of a few weeks a go.

Konica Minolta 5D, 100mm Minolta 2.8 macro lens, 1/20, f5.6, ISO 100, Manual exposure, Manual focus, WB: daylight. Post Processing with PS7: basic things such as levels, curves, saturation. Minimal cropping from the bottom to improve composition.

So that's how to handle Longwood! :)

Very nice macro image, Anita. The color looks great although it does feel like it is on the edge of being oversaturated without crossing the line. I also like the way you picked up the green in the background. Well done.

Hi Anita...Nice soft, dreamy image. My preference would be to clone out the small band of green on the lower right.

Hi Anita,
I like the composition, image and capture...The soft pastel hues of yellow are very pleasing. I like the focus point and the texture of the petals...the depth of field is dead on...good show...looking forward to your next one...

Nice capture of a pleasing composition and color.

I like the green on both sides.

Thanks for sharing.

It's funny how we all have differening opinions on the green areas! I would slice a ribbon off on the right to get rid of the green there but would definitely leave all the green on the left. Beautiful macro, Anita.

Beautiful shot Anita.

You've capture some nice colour. Wonderful composition and good lighting.
I would also suggest cloning the green from the right.

Here is a cropped version. I need to live with both a while to decide which I prefer.

Many thanks for all the input! You help me grow as a photographer.
