I shot this in a Sunflower field outside of Arle in Provence.. These white snails were all over and I liked this snails position on the flower.

The title is just right for this lovely image. The snail adds an unusual element. The different shades of orange and textures add interest. I like the composition.
There are little white specks in the very center part of the flower, which may be pollen. I find them a little distracting.

This is real nice! The composition is perfect, and I like the earthy colors.
I think it could use some sharpening, looks a little soft.

Thanks for the comments...image is sharp on my monitor but does have a tendancy to soften slightly when I resize.

It's beautiful, Dave. I especially like the way the texture shows through on the petals...very nice bonus of the snail.
I also think it feels a tiny bit soft towards the center and would also suggest cloning out the white spots in the center. Everything else is terrific.

Nice shot and great title to go.
I like your composition, nice even light and I also feel the centre of the flower is a little soft.
