This was taken on a very productive Saturday morning with Blake Shadle at the Roosevelt Wetlands. It was about 45 out and we were in the water but the cold didn't bug us after the numbness robbed our legs of any feeling. Feedback and comments appreciated.

Hi Philip,

Good exposure balance and tack sharp. The colors and calling expresion are terrific. My only suggestion is to add a little more room all around.

Keep up the good work!

Very nice composition with the perch creating the diagonal and the extra branch tips accentuate the sense of habitat. The blacks could be a little darker for my taste, especially in the chest area. Nice catch light!

I like the perch, open beak, and the detail in the eye. Nice hint of fluffed up epaulets.

It was cold!!! Really nice image, Philip. Very sharp, and good exposure. I like the composition, but I'd like to see more room to the left of the perch. Can't wait to seem more.
