Lovely soft light, perch and BG, Marko. I would be tempted to try a crop at the notch in the perch and then remove a little from above and a sliver from the right. Alternativey I might just blur the foliage near the bottom of the frame a bit more. Well done.

I can only echo what Tony said, the perch and background are great, and hey the bird is sharp, its a great shot. I would go with Tony's alternative plan: keeping the crop as is but give a little blur to blend in that leaf on the left.

Really like it as presented Marko. Wonderful detail and great head turn and the BG is lovely. I especially like the interest the touch of color on the left gives. Many thanks sharing.

You have a nice soft light with excellent BG, sharp and head angle. The crop works very well for me and the bottom only adds to the habitat. I like it as presented.

I have to say I didn't expected to LOVE this one so much when I saw the thumbail but I really do, great ambient, light, BG, pose, perch and detail, very paintery mood here. Congratualtions.

Beautiful image. The pose is great and I really like the perch - especially with that background. I don't mind the leaf at the bottom but there's a little bit of a colored blur on the bottom left I could do without.

I like the long perch as presented and the soft light and the great head angle. Pointing the camera left and down a bit for the original capture would have been my choice as it would have put the bird more into the corner for a stronger COMP.
