The big horned sheep and especially the male rams can often been seen chasing one another and of course the rams sometimes get into some serious fights over the females.

Hi judy,

Nice work capturing the action and framing it. I hope you got a few right after this one as the tree coming out of the back will be behind him. I also felt you needed a bit more punch to the image so i did a local contrast enhancement using USM at 20/30/0 for the repost (file:///C:/Users/WILDSC%7E1/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-2.jpgfile:///C:/Users/WILDSC%7E1/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-3.jpghttp://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?t=20434 for info on LCE).

Nice repost, Robert, but the colors are not consistent with the light temperature in the Yellowstone area that particular day.

Judy, you captured the typical behavior of the males, running after an Ewe or another male to pick a fight.
Well done.

Nice shot, I prefer the original. May I just say I think the ram has a really silly look on his face, but I am sure he was trying to look threatening.

Judy and Fabiola,

My goal was to demo the enhancement that LCE can achieve. The increase/change in saturation/color temperature can occur but I feel that it is also a function of going back and forth with the downloaded image and resaving as a JPG, etc. I noticed the saturation/color temp change but did not mention it knowing that Judy could correct per her taste and her knowledge of how colors looked that day.

A little reduction on the saturation and playing around with the color temp and LCE settings and it will be perfect. :)
