Photoshop Action help

I have an action which opens a Ps file, selects all, copies, and pastes into the active document. Unfortunately the Open command goes to the last folder opened by Ps, not the specific folder that the files I need in this action are located. Can I force Ps to always go to a specific folder in a action?

You can re-record the action starting AFTER you have opened your specific folder, omitting the OPEN command.
Probably the easiest.

Open the action in the palette using the flyout to expose the steps in the action. Then click on and drag the open step to the trash can and your good to go.
