Too bad about the background, but I was happy with the pose, and detail with this shot of a very friendly bird.

You nailed the exposure and got some killer detail in this image. Not easy in this light.

I agree with Mike, the exposure looks very good considering the difficult circumstances. The light BG doesn't bother me.

A "friendly" red-tail? Wow! Just look at one of ours and they take off.....nice image!

The BG doesn't bother me too much, either. A beautifully exposed image, good comp and focus.

Great image Raymond. While all others commented felt the composition was good (which it is), I wondered whether there was too much BG in the upper right quadrant and a little cropping from the right of the frame would be better.

Great compsosition. The head is at a PP and looking into the frame.. Excellent technicals considering the tough light. Well done...
