Taken with a Canon 5DMKII, with a Canon 300 f2.8 lens and a Canon 2X tc.

Massive crop from 5200 LS, to 2200 LS after the crop.

Great capture of this moment. I wish the near wing were higher up and would decrease contrast a few points. Maybe some CW rotation and a crop off the bottom.

I gotta tell you, I thought that the peek a boo through the wing made the shot.
I have lots of shots with the wings up higher, and a few where the head can't be seen at all.
I thought that this put a different spin on it.

I can see your point. The reason I said it is that one of the blurred feathers goes right through the eye. Let's see what the others think about it.

Point taken, but that's a shadow of a feather, not the feather itself.
I could take it out with PS, but I belong to a photo club that goes by PSA rules.
Only global changes. I sometimes forget what I did to what, when, so I normally
don't do spot work on my nature shots.
