Hi everybody, yes, another Andean Lapwing here, heheeh.. after driving more than 2000 Km just to photogrpah this species a few months ago I am very happy with the results but I would like to know what do you think. Here's a full frame portrait with the first sunrise lights. Hope you like it! Enjoy!

Very nice. I love the early morning soft light. It shows of the plumage nicely. Great details and colors. Love it.

Great details and soft light, I could also see this as vertical crop.

The light, colors, sharpness, and background are all outstanding, Ramon. I like the exposed spur sticking out of its wrist. A very minor detail - looking at the wonderfully sharp eye, I see that the reflected horizon does not appear level - a little CCW rotation would fix it. Excellent photo.

Color, light, sharpness, image design, and subject are all superb. Love the wing spur. Steve, I am not quite sure that "leveling" this would help as it is perfect as is. (And I am not sure that your reasoning is correct...) In addition, it looks like a fairly large CCW rotation would be needed and this would likely cause a significant loss of important parts of the image (to cropping).

Great expression. The bird seems very much at ease. Nice crop too.

Thanks Jon, I apreciate your comment, but as said in the image description, this is a full frame, it has no crop. :)
